Yemen’s Productive-Family Initiative Opens Opportunities for Small Manufacturers

On 5 November, a new textile-sector partnership in Sana’a targeted more than 200 productive families and associations by providing yarn and manufacturing inputs. The programme aims to help home-based producers develop organised small businesses and connect with domestic supply chains. No startup funding pool, venture-capital allocation or individual financing amount was announced. The initiative creates opportunities for micro-enterprises, local clothing brands and small-scale manufacturers.
