Switzerland Adds CHF 9 Million in Annual Support for Local Media

On 4 November, the Federal Council announced an additional CHF 9 million from 2027 for licensed local radio stations and regional television broadcasters. The funding changes are intended to strengthen regional media support and will take effect alongside updated broadcasting regulations.
